Assistant Store Manager

We are looking for an inspirational  Assistant Store Manager to work with our team to continue to grow the Nosh Brand and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

The Nosh journey started at our Glen Innes  large format store in 2006.

This is a hands on leadership position where no two days are the same. A day in the life of the Assistant Store Manager provides a diverse range of responsibilities such as but not limited to : Leading the team and managing the store in the absence of the  Store Manager, ensure products are merchandised appropriately, rosters are completed, stock control and managing the Deli department.

This is a busy role where your ability to successfully manage competing priorities will be tested.

You’re a self starter who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. Your outstanding communication skills, coupled with the ability to influence, motivate and develop your team, will set you up  for success in our growing business.

Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is able to multitask in a small team environment. Someone who has had experience in being a store person and has a clean driver’s license & fork hoist certs also no criminal convictions. This will be a casual contract for 6 months.  There will be Saturday work as required and early starts from 6am.

Duties will be:

• Picking and packing Dry Goods Chiller and freezer
• Fork hoist work
• Some heavy lifting
• Stock taking
• General housekeeping
• Other tasks as required


Butcher Managers

We are seeking Butchery Managers at our Mount Eden and Glen Innes stores.

This is an important role and will suit a qualified and experienced butcher who is enthusiastic about dealing directly with customers. Customer Service is first priority in our Nosh Stores. It is essential that you have extensive knowledge of different cuts and grades of meat and know how long they remain fresh. Nosh expects from you to assist our customers with your knowledge of how to prepare and cook different types of meat.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Service
- Daily Meat and Seafood Order
- Weekly Promo Order
- Product Presentation
- Managing your Butchery Staff
- Checking all Meat and Fish deliveries for quality and quantity
- Close communication and contact with the Store Manager and Regional Manager
- All machines and equipment bust be kept clean and must be handled with care at all times.
- Responsible that his team follows Health and Safety as well as Hygiene Standards.

Key Requirements:

- Qualified Butcher
- Minimum 2 years experience as Butchery Manager
- Excellent communication skills, a strong gasp of the English language
- Current working visa
- It is an advantage to have a New Zealand food safety certification
